Launching #Ospertunities
Remember your first ever stint of work experience? We’ve got some pretty funny stories amongst us here at the Osper office – including spending a day googling photos of cockroaches (don’t ask). Our days of work experience are long gone but we all agree that they taught us a good thing or three about life post-school, and it was usually pretty fun too (googling cockroaches aside!).
It doesn’t really matter what today’s school goers decide to do tomorrow, whether they go to uni or launch straight into their career. Having done a bit of work experience or other things outside school will make the big world become a little bit less scary.
That’s why we’re bringing you #Ospertunities. From now on, every week we’ll list a few super-tastic opportunities for young people across all ages. We’ve pinned down the best work experiences and apprenticeships, competitions and awards, and will list them right here on the Osper blog.
So, here goes – this week’s best #Ospertunities:
Creative and Digital Media Apprenticeship, 16-18 year-olds, Birmingham
The Times Chicken House Children’s Fiction Young Judge Competition, 14-18 year-olds, nationally
Please ping us a note if you decide to take part – we’d love to hear how you get on!
