App Store features Osper (and three other little gems)
Did you know that Apple’s App Store has a section for apps that help the young ones getting off to a good start? The Osper app was included in this week’s little list of brilliance, and – as expected – we’re in pretty good company. Here are some of our favourites.
Kitchen Stories
Anyone in the family who could do with some help on the cooking front? Kitchen Stories to the rescue. Recipes from all the world’s little corners are accompanied by how-to videos, making kitchen adventures both fun and easy. And if you’re ever stuck on ideas for dinner, don’t worry – Kitchen Stories comes with daily dinners suggestions. Already a cooking ninja? Upload your own recipes to share with the Kitchen Stories community. It’s cooking made fun and easy.
Moovit
Citymapper, move over. Moovit does all the things you’d expect from a public transport app, and then that little bit extra. It tells you the quickest way to get from A to B to Z, and gives you live updates on delays and interruptions. Unimpressed? Well, it also lets you know about station cleanliness, crowdedness and incidents – all live in your phone, with reports coming in straight from the Moovit community.
iStudiez
We’re pretty sure admin and planning inspired the notion of necessary evils. Worry not – iStudiez lends a helping hand to the messiest of minds in organising life and other pursuits. It helps you keep track of your to do-list, your schedule, any school assignments coming up, and grades on previous assignments, too – all in one. Worried about having to fill out two calendars? Yeah, they already thought of that – iStudiez integrates with the Calendar app, so everything on there will end up in iStudiez, and vice versa. It’s life made easy.
